Greetings Sisters, Alumnae, Friends, and Visitors,
The Lambda Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma warmly welcomes you to the experience of The University of Akron’s longest standing Greek Organization. Our chapter and story began on this campus in 1877, and it continues to thrive on our strong values of academics, leadership, friendship, and tradition.
In the heart of this chapter, we find growth and service within our strong sisterhood. Somewhere between organizing and running successful chapter-wide philanthropy events, community service days giving back to the city of Akron together, and staying up hours upon hours studying for tests to improve our academics, we continue to share and feel the love for each other and our organization’s purpose. We are always able to see love and care while individually growing together.
As for my personal experience, Kappa Kappa Gamma has given far more of the college experience than I ever expected, and it has given me everything that I never knew I needed. It has given me my absolute best friends who push me to be the best version of myself. It has given me academic motivation and support when I needed it the most. Most importantly, it has given me the opportunity to find so much personal growth, physically, mentally, and emotionally, within my college career. I wish that I could give back everything that I owe to this chapter for all it has done for me.
Continuing to take strides forward on our pursuit into the next pages of our story, the women of Lambda Chapter are determined to put their best feet forward to make this chapter, campus, and community a better place. With the everlasting strength, courage, passion for leadership, and continuous support, I have no doubt that the current and future chapters here will do just that and more.
Loyally,
Nicole Londo
