Kappa holds a special place in its heart for Fraternity history, but every chapter of our organization has unique beginnings of its own. Each plays a part in shaping us today. Lambda was founded on June 10th, 1877 with three charter members, Mary B. Jewett, Harriet Evelyn Pardee, and Elizabeth Undine Slade. Founded 7 years after the founding of Kappa Kappa Gamma's Alpha Chapter, Lambda is proud of their long standing and outstanding history.
